The healthcare industry needs CNAs like you’re about to be: top-notch, no-nonsense, big-hearted, scrub-strutting, fiercely remarkable heroes.

Blue Rock's five and eight-week programs are designed to prepare students to care for those in need of assistance, from the elderly, to those with cognitive challenges, to multiple comorbidities, and so on.

Our course includes 120 total hours of instruction divided into 80 hours of theory/lab and 40 hours of clinical. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate. All students are eligible to sit for the state Certified Nursing Assistant exam.

Prerequisites:

A Negative PPD Test (tuberculosis)

Physical Examination

Background Check

Two forms of government-issued identification

Proof of citizenship or approved immigrant status

CNA Course Description

The Basic Nurse Aide Training Program will prepare students interested in careers in the healthcare field, specifically the nurse aide training program. This course is designed for students who are interested in caring for those in need of assistance such as, elderly persons, those with cognitive issues, multiple co-morbidities etc.

Students will perform ADL’s such as bathing, ambulating, turning for those in need or assisting those in need with these functions. Student who take this course will complete 120/156 hours of instruction, 80/112 hours in Theory/Lab and 40 hours of clinical. Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course. Students who complete the nurse aide training program would be eligible to sit for the state certified nursing assistant exam.
